IGUS bushings – what are they?
IGUS RJ4JP bushings are made from Drylin material which is a special material for friction and motion. These are self-lubricating bushings you can use for your 3d Printers linear motion. There are 3 main advantages to using Drylin bushings;
- They significantly reduce the noise your 3d printer makes
- They reduce rod wear and rod maintenance
- Last much longer than traditional ball bearing bushings
Upgrading your 3d printer with bushings like these will be a noticeable difference in print quality and noise levels. One of the best benefits of the self-lubricating bushings are that the longer they wear the better your linear rails stay lubricated so no need for lubrication maintenance.
Will drylin bushings fit my 3D Printer?
These bushings come in many types and sizes. The ones listed on this product page are direct replacements for LM8UU bearings 8x15x24mm. Be sure to check how many bushings you need to replace your stock 3d printer bushings because not all 3d printers have the same number of bushings. For example the ANET A8 takes a set of seven.
